These ratios are Branch Basics Concentrate : water, measured by volume. If you use the manufacturer's bottles, follow their marked fill lines and current directions.

Fill and label each bottle for its intended job. The glass dilution is deliberately very weak; adding more concentrate does not make it a better streak-free cleaner. The E-Cloth window kit provides a separate water-only method.

A practical cleaning routine
- Set up. Take the caddy, clean cloths, and the tools needed for the room. Check the surface and product instructions.
- Work from high to low. Dust shelves and trim, then wipe surfaces. Keep bathroom and toilet cloths separate from kitchen cloths.
- Do the detail work. Use the small brushes where a cloth cannot reach. For compatible bathroom surfaces, follow the Branch Basics bathroom guide. Its toilet-cleaning method uses bathroom spray and Oxygen Boost, a 5–10 minute wait, then scrubbing and flushing.
- Finish the floors. Pick up loose debris and vacuum before mopping. For compatible finished hardwood, use regular Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner for routine cleaning and PowerPlus when heavier buildup calls for a deeper clean. - Reset the kit. Empty the vacuum, rinse tools, hang cloths and pads to dry, and return the dry tools to their places.
Cleaning and disinfecting are different jobs. The bathroom method above is a cleaning routine. When disinfection is needed, use an appropriate product such as Force of Nature exactly as its current label directs, including preparation, surface compatibility, and required wet contact time.

- Cloths and mop pads: provide a rail or hooks where each can hang open to dry, then a separate bin for collecting dry, used cloths for washing. Follow each item's washing instructions. E-Cloth specifies no fabric softener or dryer sheets. E-Cloth care instructions
- Vacuum: record model 4196K, pre-motor filters 1647920 / 1647921, post-motor filter 1646969, and the last replacement date. Bissell recommends replacing this model's filters every six months or as needed. Follow the guide to wash the pre-motor filter assembly and cage with warm water, then air-dry completely before reassembly. Wipe the post-motor filter with a dry cloth. - Supplies: check concentrate, detergent, capsules, cleaner, labels, and brush or pad wear before the next cleaning session. Keep the next refill in one place rather than spreading spare stock between rooms.
